The path

What the teachers taught me.

A few of the turns that shaped how I practice.

Shivapuri Baba, Ramana Maharshi, and Neem Karoli Baba
Shivapuri Baba · Ramana Maharshi · Neem Karoli Baba

Non-duality came to me first, through the Self-Enquiry of Ramana Maharshi. You hold one question, who am I, and follow it back to its source. That single practice opened everything else for me. I suggest it to anyone before any other sadhana.

Then Neem Karoli Baba drew me in. I sat in his Kainchi ashram in 2021. He taught through small acts, and karma showed itself in them, quietly. From him I began to see how grace works. What people call a miracle is pure love, nothing added to it.

Ramana Maharshi went on to show me what real bhakti is, in the Ramana Gita set down by Ganapati Muni. Love and knowing meet at the same source.

Shivapuri Baba taught me what duty is, the real meaning of dharma, and why discipline stands at the base of any growth in the spirit.

Khaptad Baba showed me how thought works. Ramana Maharshi showed me where thought comes from. The two sit together in my practice.

In the Talks, Ramana Maharshi explains the place of Swarupa, a form the heart can hold, on a path whose goal has no form.

There is more, and it keeps unfolding. This is where I stand for now.
